Tales of a Travel Addict 
Heading to Puerto Vallarta in a few days. Not interested in zip lining but want to swim in river at El Eden Restaurant. Did you drive yourselves there? Do we need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to access? The closest I could come to an affordable rental was a small SUV but no guarantee it’s all or 4 wheel. Thanks for your response.

Hi Diane,
We took a bus there as part of the zip lining package, so I’m not positive about the 4 wheel drive, but there were other cars and SUV’s around so you should be fine driving yourself. The last part of the road is quite bumpy and has a gradual incline, but nothing crazy. Enjoy Puerto Vallarta!
