The Battle of Hogwarts raged 21 years ago today and what a different place the Wizarding World would have been if that battle hadn’t ended in victory. We get a glimpse of just how different in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

If you are a big Harry Potter fan like me and get the chance to see this incredible two part play currently running in five cities be sure to check it out.

On a recent trip to NYC, I finally had the chance to see it. What a brilliant, imaginative piece of theatre. You are instantly transported into the magical world of Harry Potter. I was enthralled from start to finish. Over five hours of theatre and I would have willing gone back for more. It’s definitely a must-see piece of theatre!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Take a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando. Travel between Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley on the magical Hogwarts Express. Step inside Gringotts bank and take the thrilling new ride “Harry Pottter and the Escape from Gringotts.”  Watch the wand choose the wizard at Ollivanders and take a flight on a Hippogriff by Hagrid’s Hut. Then, head into Hogwarts Castle and jump on a broom with Harry for a “Forbidden Journey” before strolling through the shops of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, sipping a delicious Butterbeer!

Muggle Magic at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter officially opened its gates June 18th, 2010 at Universal Studios in Florida and to commemorate the event limited edition tickets were being given out as souvenirs.  As a Harry Potter fan and general lover of all things magical and imaginative- this sounded like a perfect excuse to take a roadtrip to Orlando the first week of July and be one of the first to visit the wizarding world (along with tens of thousands of other people!)

Harry Potter in Edinburgh
